Our Classes
** All students must present proof of COVID 19 Vaccination in advance of attending a class. **
New students must register for and view/attend the Just for You Behavior and Training 101 seminar prior to start date
The Greater St. Louis Training Club offers a variety of classes to meet your training goals. Whether you are a first time pet owner with a new puppy, an experienced trainer looking to challenge your dog we have a class for you.
Get Started
Step 1 – Sign up for the Behavior and Training 101 seminar
This is the first stop on your training journey. This seminar is required before taking almost any of our classes. It will get you prepared for our classes by learning the most effective way to train your dog, how to manage common behavior problems, and how to prepare for each class. This two-hour presentation provides you with a solid foundation for your first class. Register for the online video version and watch it anytime before class or come to one of the in-person sessions offered regularly starting in late 2021.
Step 2 – Register for class
Choose the class that is appropriate for your dog’s age and the skills you want your dog to learn. All beginner classes (Puppy Kindergarten and Foundation Manners) use a flexible registration format allowing you to start whenever we have an opening. Sign Up for the first available start date. You will attend class once a week for 5 consecutive weeks.
Competition Classes – advanced classes may follow a standard 5 or 6 week format
Some dogs need an extra assessment prior to participating in our specialized or advanced level classes. Be sure to read the class requirements for any class you wish to take.
Step 3 – Pre-pay for both
All classes must be pre-paid in order to hold a spot. There are 3 ways to pay
- Pay online at the time you sign up for a class and seminar
- Pay online anytime you log in to your account
- Pre-pay by mailing a check payable to “Greater St. Louis Training Club” or “GSLTC” to 615 Bambury Way, St. Louis, MO 63122
