  • Attention and Focus
  • Advanced Handling skills
  • Loose Leash Walking
  • Leave It
  • Come When Called
  • Stay

Dogs will also learn Life Skills such as Sitting Politely to greet people, relaxing on leash by your side for impulse control, and walking past distractions nicely on leash.

In class, you’ll have a checklist to help track your progress on the skills learned in class and earn Good Dog then Super Dog level.

  • Family DogGood Dog Level
    • Once your dog has achieved Good Dog skills in this class, you are eligible to take the fun Games class.
  • Super Dog Level
    • When your dog achieves his Super Dog skills, you will have a world of other possibilities for classes. Consider some of our advanced classes and prepare your dog to receive his Canine Good Citizen Title or learn the competitive skills for Rally or Novice Obedience. You can even take these advanced classes just for fun if you aren’t the competitive type.

Canine Good Citizen® Testing

Trial - leave your dog$15 per dog

We offer testing for both the Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) and Community Canine (CGCA) several times each year.  The CGC program, established in 1989 by the American Kennel Club to promote responsible dog ownership and to encourage the training of well-mannered dogs, is a short behavioral evaluation of common skills necessary for good canine citizenship.  Dogs demonstrate greeting people politely, walking through a crowd with manners, and Come When Called along with other basic skills.  Any dog can become a Good Canine Citizen!  All breeds (including mixed) are welcome.
